Aaron Ramsey always believed that Mikel Arteta would become a coach.

"His leadership qualities and the way he controlled himself were second to none. Definitely, from the way he thought and saw the game, and from how energetic he was, it was clear that one day he would become a coach. What he's doing with Arsenal right now is absolutely unbelievable.

It's still a big part of me. I spent 10, 11 years at Arsenal, I'm a fan like everyone else. I still know many players and employees of the club. The fans deserved to win in the Premier League," said the ex–Gunners player, now playing for Nice.

Mikel Arteta is pleased with Arsenal's 8-point lead over Manchester City.

Before the break for the national team matches, the Londoners lead the Premier League by a margin of 8 points, but Man City have a match in reserve.

"It's very nice, especially considering how we played and what results we achieved. Now we need to stop and make sure that everyone returns after the national team games with the same attitude. Next we have Leeds, and we will focus on him," said the Arsenal coach.

Arsenal won their sixth consecutive victory in the Premier League. On Sunday, coach Mikel Arteta's team beat Crystal Palace (4-1) in the 28th round. Before that, there were victories over Fulham, Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester and Aston Villa.
